    Microsoft Word 2007- Class 1
    7:30pm in the Founders Room
    Patty Hoyt leads this first class in our 3-part Microsoft Word 2007 series. This is a hands-on introduction to the popular Microsoft Word 2007 word-processing program. Patty will introduce the Word menus, and toolbars and basic editing commands. This is an introductory class.  Attendees should have Basic Windows experience. Attendees must have ability to use the keyboard and mouse, and be familiar with using Windows menus and toolbars. Space is limited!     Microsoft Word 2007-Class  2
    7:30pm in the Founders Room
    In this second hands-on workshop in our Microsoft Word 2007 series, trainer Patty Hoyt will teach attendees about creating, saving and formatting documents using Microsoft Word 2007, the most popular word-processing program on the planet. This is an intermediate level course. Attendees should have taken MS Word 2007 Class 1 or be able to use MS Word menus, toolbars and basic editing commands. Space is limited!     JobNow - Demonstration
    2-3:30pm in the Founders Room
    Are you looking for a new job, considering a career change, or just updating your resume?  Librarian, Joan Garrett, will introduce you to JobNow, the Library’s newest online resource for residents of Belvedere and Tiburon.  JobNow gives you the tools to assess your best career fit, update your skills, and develop a new resume.  They also provide live interview coaching with a trained job coach, and allow you to upload your resume and cover letter for assistance from trained resume experts.  This workshop will be an online demonstration.  All are welcome, but you must live in the 94920 zip code area to use this resource from home.
